{"id":851,"date":"2018-08-28T20:50:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-28T20:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/srmtasaskatoon.com\/?p=851"},"modified":"2020-10-30T18:02:38","modified_gmt":"2020-10-30T18:02:38","slug":"convention-2018-what-to-look-forward-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srmtasaskatoon.com\/?p=851","title":{"rendered":"Convention 2018: what to look forward to"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Namoradze in Recital &#8211; 2018 Honens Winner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers and the SSO are excited to present Nicholas Namoradze in recital.\u00a0 The recital is part of the 2018 Provincial Convention of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers.<\/p>\n<p>Namoradze was the recent winner of the the 2018 Honens Competition &#8211; hailed for his exceptional performances in recital, chamber music, and with orchestra.\u00a0 His Saskatoon concert will feature the music of Scriabin, Bach, Schumann, and more, including his own compositions.<\/p>\n<p>The Honens Piano Competition takes place every three years and is considered one of the world\u2019s most prestigious events of its kind. Honens prepares its Laureates for the rigours and realities of professional careers in music and creates opportunities for growth and exposure.
